Eggless Semolina Cake Without Oven

  • 1.5 cup semolina

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 cup curd

  • 1/3 cup ghee or oil

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 2 pinch salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/3 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • 2 tablespoon chopped dry fruits

  • 2 tablespoon tutti frutti


  • First of all grind semolina in a grinder of you are using fine one skip this step.
  • Now take semolina in a bowl mix salt cardamom powder and sugar in it.
  • Now add ghee and curd and mix them well
  • Now add half amount of milk and mix well so that no lump is there
  • Keep the batter for 15 minutes aside.
  • Now put a vessel on gas and pour 2 glass water in it. Cover it and let it boil.
  • Meanwhile grease a cake tin and layer some dry fruits and tutti frutti in base.
  • Now take batter and mix it once. Add some dry fruits and tutti frutti.mox it well
  • Now add baking soda and baking powder and mix it bit do not overmix.
  • Pour this batter in cake tin and garnish with remaining dry fruits and tutti frutti.
  • Place a stand in vessel and put cake tin on it.
  • Cook the cake till 30 minutes on low flame.
  • After 30 minutes check with a knife. If it comes out clear means your cake is cooked otherwise cook more.
  • When it is cooked turn off the flame and take out the cake tin. Let it cool
  • Once cooled completely cut the cake edges with a knife.
  • Your semolina cake is ready to eat
