  • 100g Cashews plain

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 2 egg whites

  • 2 tsp lemon juice


  • Coarsely ground the cashews.
  • Powder the sugar
  • Set aside
  • Add the egg whites in to a clean and dry bowl
  • Using an electric beater blend on a medium high speed until the egg whites become frothy and stiff
  • Pour in the lime juice and beat
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and blend on the same speed
  • Add in the grounded cashew and gently mix the meringue with a spatula
  • Put the meringue in a piping bag and start piping as a cone
  • Be super fast.Delay might make the meringue runny
  • Bake at 100 degree in a preheated oven for 70 minutes
  • When done let the macroons rest in the open oven for 30 minutes.
  • Yummy macroons are ready to munch on.
