Ingredients

Serves 5

  • 100g Cashews plain

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 2 egg whites

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

Directions

    Coarsely ground the cashews.

    Powder the sugar

    Set aside

  • 04

    Add the egg whites in to a clean and dry bowl

  • 05

    Using an electric beater blend on a medium high speed until the egg whites become frothy and stiff

  • 06

    Pour in the lime juice and beat

  • 07

    Gradually add the powdered sugar and blend on the same speed

  • 08

    Add in the grounded cashew and gently mix the meringue with a spatula

  • 09

    Put the meringue in a piping bag and start piping as a cone

  • 10

    Be super fast.Delay might make the meringue runny

  • 11

    Bake at 100 degree in a preheated oven for 70 minutes

    When done let the macroons rest in the open oven for 30 minutes.

    Yummy macroons are ready to munch on.
