Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1.5 cup basmati rice (soaked)


  • 3 cups of water


  • 1 bay leaf


  • 2 cloves


  • 1 Cinnamon stick


  • 2 green Cardamom


  • 1 onion ( sliced )


  • 1 tbsp cumin


  • 1 tbsp biryani masala


  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder


  • 1 cup soaked and fried soya chunks


  • 2 tbsp rose water


  • 1 tbsp salt or according to taste

Directions

  • Heat a pressure cooker, add oil then add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, and Cardamom.
  • Now add sliced onions and roast until it turns into golden colour.
  • Now add salt, Turmeric pd, biryani masala then add 3 cups of water and soaked rice, and fried soya chunks.
  • Now add 2 tbsp rose water. Cover the lid and give it 2 whistle on high flame. Now turn off the gas.
  • Open the lid when it cooled down by its own.
