  • 1/2 glass split yellow moong dhal

  • 1 glass rice

  • curry leaves 1/2 teaspoon

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 TO 2 teaspoons tamarind pulp

  • jeera 1/2 teaspoon

  • Ghee 2 teaspoons

  • ginger 1/2 inch grated

  • water 6 glasses

  • sambhar powder 1/2 teaspoon

    Wash the dhal and rice together and take a pan add oil then heat it add jeera grated ginger and curry leaves, add this to washed moong dhal and rice.Pour 6 glasses of water and pressure cook it for 7 whistles. Let the pressure cooker cool and then you can take out the whistle, add salt and ghee to it. Take out in a pan then add tamarind pulp and sambhar powder simmer for 2 mins and serve with curds.
