Wash n soak all dals n rice for 2 hrs.
In a pressure cooker , heat 2 tsp ghee, add jeera, hing, add n saute ginger n add all other spices.
Pour water in cooker n when it starts boiling add all dals n rice.
Cook it till 4 whistles blow.
Once khichdi is cooked, open the lid of cooker, mash it properly using big ladle.
Garnish it with chopped coriander n ghee. It tastes best with Raita, chutney or pickle.
