Soak cashews in warm water for 30 minutes and grind to paste
Marinate chicken with salt and turmeric for 1 hour
Dry roast coriander seeds, peppercorns, cumin seeds, dry red chilli until aromatic. Cool completely and grind to powder. Keep it aside
Heat oil in a pan and stir fry capsicum for 1-2 minutes. Keep it aside
In same pan, add bay leaf, cinamaon , cloves and cardamom , stir for 1 minute
Add onions and green chillies. Saute until tender
Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw aroma disappears
Add Tomato and cook until mushy
Reserve 1 tbsp ground spice powder. Add remaining to pan and mix well
Add salt and cashews paste. Mix well for 2 minutes
Add chicken and coat well with masala. add little water. mix well
Cover and cook until done stirring occasionally
Add cream, kasuri methi, reserved spice powder and mix well
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
