Marinate chicken with salt, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder turmeric and ginger garlic paste for 1 hour
Dry roast whole spices and grind spices with coconut to form smooth paste
Heat oil in a pan. Splutter cumin and mustard seeds
Add onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute until translucent
Add tomatoes , red chilli powder and saute until mushy
Add chicken and ground paste. Mix well
Cover and cook until done, stirring occasionally. Check for seasoning
Add garam masala and mix well. Cook for a minute
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti
