Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups roasted suji


  • 4 cups ghee


  • 7 tsp sugar


  • 2 tsp chopped nuts


  • 1 nos banana mashed


  • 1 tsp kewra water


  • 3 nos kesar strands


  • 1/2 cups milk


  • 1 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1 pinch utmeg powder

Directions

  • Heat ghee in a pan and toss chopped nuts. Remove them on a plate and add mashed banana in same ghee.
  • Keep stirring till banana turns mushy. add suji and saute for a minute.
  • Add milk and some water as required.
  • Add sugar and stirr till it dissolves completely.
  • Add cardamom powder, nutmeg , kesar and kewara water .
  • Cover with lid for 5 minutes till milk is soaked completely.
  • Add chopped nuts. You can use edible colour to garnish .
  • This tradtional halwa is common offering to god as prasadam.
