Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup masoor dal soaked 1 hour


  • 1 onion chopped


  • 1 tomato chopped


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp haldi


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
  • Add onion and ginger garlic paste.
  • Add some salt and saute for a minute.
  • Add tomato and seasoning. Mix well.
  • Add masoor dal and saute for a minute.
  • Add some water and cook until masoor dal is cooked properly.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapati.
