Ingredients

  • ingredients for dal. Kaali dal (Soaked overnight)2 cups


  • Channa dal 2 tbsp


  • Rajma 1/2 cup


  • Oil 2 tbsp


  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp


  • Green chilli chopped 2


  • Kashmiri mirch 2~3


  • Salt 2 tsp


  • Water 7 cups


  • Beaten curd 4~5 tbsp


  • Ingredients for tadka. Red tomatos boiled and chopped 4


  • Ginger slices 1 tbsp


  • Degi mirc 1 tsp


  • Garam masala 1 tsp


  • Clove powder 1/4 tsp


  • Cinamon powder 1/4 tsp


  • Butter 3~4 tbsp


  • Cream or malai 2 tbsp

Directions

  • put all the ingredients for Dal in pressure cooker
  • Cook till 4 whistles check if done if not cooketill done on low flame
  • add beaten curd and reduce the heat and let it cook on sim gas add water if needed
  • in a pan add oil butter lightly Fry Ginger remove it from gas and add degi mirch make sure it does not burn
  • add tomatoes cover and cook till oil separates
  • Add all seasonings and add this Tadka to dal
  • if Dal is thick add water cook for another 5~7 minute on slow gas
  • taste and balance in last boil add cream or Malai and served hot with naan
