  • Rice Flour 1 cup

  • Orange colour 1 pinch

  • Desicated Coconut 1 cup

  • Dry fruits (cashew, Almonds) 1 cup

  • Ghee 1 cup

  • Water 2 cups

  • Oil 1 spoon

  • Sugar 1 cup


  • First in a pan add water and boil for sometime. Then add rice flour cook it till it gets dough texture. All water must be reduced.
  • Remove the dough from pan in dish let it cool. By adding some oil and orange colour knead dough of it.
  • In a pan add ghee then add desicated coconut, sugar, dry fruits and mix well. Stuffing is ready.
  • Now make a ball of dough and roll roti of it and then stuffing to it. Put ghee your palms and pack it in shape of modak.
  • Grease ghee on plate and stem it for 10 minutes.
  • Serve ukdiche modak.
