Serves 4

  • Rice Flour 1 cup

  • Orange colour 1 pinch

  • Desicated Coconut 1 cup

  • Dry fruits (cashew, Almonds) 1 cup

  • Ghee 1 cup

  • Water 2 cups

  • Oil 1 spoon

  • Sugar 1 cup

    First in a pan add water and boil for sometime. Then add rice flour cook it till it gets dough texture. All water must be reduced.

    Remove the dough from pan in dish let it cool. By adding some oil and orange colour knead dough of it.

    In a pan add ghee then add desicated coconut, sugar, dry fruits and mix well. Stuffing is ready.

    Now make a ball of dough and roll roti of it and then stuffing to it. Put ghee your palms and pack it in shape of modak.

    Grease ghee on plate and stem it for 10 minutes.

    Serve ukdiche modak.
