Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 kg Lauki


  • 2 cups Besan


  • 1/4 cup wheat thick flour


  • 1/4 cup Bajari atta


  • 2 1/2 tbsp corriander cumin pwd


  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric pwd


  • 1 tsp soda bi carb


  • 3 tbsp + 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1 tbsp green chilli ginger paste


  • 2 tsp garlic paste


  • 1/2 cup chopped corriander


  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar


  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


  • 2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds


  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida


  • 1/4 cup curry leaves

Directions

  • 1.Heat the muthiya steamer n grease the muthiya plate with oil
  • 2.Peel n grate lauki in a big plate
  • 3.Add turmeric pwd corriander cumin pwd ginger chilli paste garlic paste chopped corriander sugar lemon juice n salt n mix quickly
  • 4.Now add all the flours soda 3 tbsp oil n mix quickly
  • 5.Process should be done quickly so that mixture do not release water
  • 6.If the mix is loose add some more besan n mix
  • 7.Apply oil on hands n make rolls from the mixture n keep for steaming
  • 8.Steam for 15 minutes
  • 9.Let it cool n cut in to pieces
  • 10.Heat 1 tbsp oil in a fry pan
  • 11.Add mustard seeds saute for a minute n add sesame seeds n stir
  • 12.Add hing n curry leaves n muthiya pieces mix n serve
  • 13.Garnish with corriander leaves
