Cow colostrum pudding is a cheesy dessert made by using colostrum milk of cow or buffalo during first 3 to 4 days of calving and this milk is rich in protein, antibodies (that fight diseases causing agents such as bacterias and viruses),minerals, vitamins and carbohydrates. Colostrum now a days are used for sports drink….as it helps in muscle recovery and rebuilding the body tissues. Colostrum Milk powder/milk are now available in market too. This pudding can be prepared by boiling the milk or steaming it in cooker or idli steamer. I

Ingredients
Serves : 4
1 litre colostrum milk(cow or buffalo)
1 1/2 litre regular boiled milk
2 cups sugar/jaggery
1/2 nos nutmeg
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
Directions
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.Let the sugar/jaggery dissolved properly.
Transfer it to a cooker pan. Fill the cooker base with water and allow to heat for five minutes
Place the pan inside the cooker and steam it for half an hour in a medium flam.
Take out the pan from the cooker, allow it to cool.
Unmould in a serving dish,cut into pieces,chill in fridge then serve cold as a dessert.
