Among 56 foods, (Mahaprasada) such as Chipa Kakara, Khaja, Karangi, Biri Tadia, Malapua, Khua Manda etc Magaja ladooo is also offered to Load Jagannatha, Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra in the holy temple. It is a divine sweet you may say which is loaded with calories and the goodness of wheat (atta) .

Ingredients
Serves : 10
2 cups atta(wheat flour)
1 cups cow ghee
1 cups sugar
4 nos cloves(powdered)
2 nos black cardamoms(powdered)
2 tsp milk
Directions
Heat a thick bottomed pan, pour all the ghee.
Add atta, stir constantly to avoid sticking at the bottom, let the colour of the atta become slightly brown .
Add the powdered spices. Now add the sugar stir for five minutes,then sprinkle the milk.
Turn off the gas.Make round balls of this prepared mixture while hot.
You can store it in an air tight container for more than two weeks.
