In a pressure cooker add toor dal, green chilly, tomato, turmeric powder and 1 glass of water.
Pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
Heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
Add onion and ginger garlic paste. Mix well.
Stir the dal gently and pour it into the wok. Mix it well.
Add pinch of sugar, salt and fresh coriander and serve hot with rice.
