Ingredients

1 cup urad dal skinless ( soaked 6 hours)
2 cup rice grains ( soaked 6 hours)
1 pinch soda
2 tsp salt or as required
Directions
Grind urad dal to smooth paste.
Grind rice grains to smooth paste.
Mix the paste together and keep for 7-8 hours for fermentation.
Later add soda, salt and mix well.
Grease idli batter and pour some batter in idli container. Steam for 10 minutes and serve with peanut chutney and sambar.
