Heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic and saute for a minute.
Add chopped onion and palak. Cook for a minute.
Add tomatoes and add turmeric powder, red chilly powder,hing, curry leaves and some water. Bring it to boil.
Add cumin powder, coriander powder and mix well.
Add dal and salt. Cover for a minute.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
