Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Wheat Flour 2 cups

  • Water 2 cup

  • Ajwain 1/4 tbsp

  • Salt 1 spoon

  • Baking Soda 1/4 spoon

  • Oil 1 spoon

  • Tuvar Dal 1/2 cup

  • Moong Dal (yellow coloured) 1/4 cup

  • Masoor Dal (orange coloured) 1/4 cup

  • Chana Dal 1/4 cup

  • Moong Dal (half green and half white coloured) 1/4 cup

  • Turmeric powder 1 spoon

  • Red Chilly powder 1 spoon

  • Coriander powder 1 spoon

  • Tamarind chutney 1 cup

  • Ramdev garam Masala 1 spoon

  • Sugar 1 spoon

  • Sambhar Masala 1 spoon

  • Tomato 1 cup

  • Onion 1 cup

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 spoon

  • Mustard Seeds 1 spoon

  • Hing 1 spoon

Directions

    First make dough for bati. In a bowl take wheat flour, salt, water, oil, ajwain, baking soda and knead dough of it rest it for 5-10 minutes.

    After resting make small balls of it. Take baking tray put aluminium foil on it. Put balls on it and bake it for 10 minutes in microwave at 170 degree

    Pressure cook tuvar dal, moong dal(yellow coloured), moong dal(half green and half white coloured), masoor dal, chana dal by adding water in it upto 4-5 whistles so that it gets cooked well.

    After pressure cook remove excess water and keep little water only and with the help of blender blend it to smooth texture.

    In a cooker add oil, mustard seeds, tomato, onions, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, hing and saute them well.

    Then add tamarind chutney, dal water, salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder, sambhar masala, garam masala, sugar and pressure cook till 1-2 whistles.

    Serve batis with hot panchmi dal.
