Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cup chickpeas soaked overnight and boiled


  • 1 large onion finely chopped


  • 1 tomato puree


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp chole masala


  • 1 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/2 turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp cumin powder


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 bay leaf


  • 1 inch cinnamon stick

Directions

  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon sticks.
  • Add onions , salt and turmeric powder. Wait till onion turns brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and wait till raw smell goes off.
  • Add red chilly powder , cumin powder and tomato puree. Wait till oil seperates.
  • Add chickpeas, chole masala and cover for a minute.
  • Add the chickpea stock and bring it to a boil.
  • Garnish with onions and tomatoes and bhature.
