Heat oil and add mustard seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon sticks.
Add onions , salt and turmeric powder. Wait till onion turns brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and wait till raw smell goes off.
Add red chilly powder , cumin powder and tomato puree. Wait till oil seperates.
Add chickpeas, chole masala and cover for a minute.
Add the chickpea stock and bring it to a boil.
Garnish with onions and tomatoes and bhature.
