  • 6 tinde scooped

  • 2 onions finely chopped

  • 1 tsp poppy seeds

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chilly powder

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 pinch sugar

  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and let it crackle.
  • Add poppy seeds and some chopped onion. add salt and wait till it shrink in size.
  • add some ginger garlic paste , turmeric powder and red chilly powder. mix it well.
  • when the mixture is cooked stuff it into the tinde and reserve the extra masala.
  • heat remaining oil in a wok and add mustard seeds.
  • transfer onion and wait till it turns translucent. add the tinde and turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder and cover with a lid.
  • when tinde turns tender add a little water and cook for 5 minutes.
