  • Urad dal -1cup

  • Rice-3cups

  • Salt-1tbsp

  • Jaggery-3/4cup


  • Soak urad dal and rice separately for about 4hours.
  • Then grind them in a mixer and mix both of them and mix the batter with your hand for some time.
  • Add the salt and Jaggery to the batter.
  • Put a kadai in gas stove and add oil to it.
  • Take ladle full of batter and then dip fry in oil in medium flame.
  • When it turns golden brown from either sides then take it away from oil and serve hot.
  • You may serve it with dalma.
