Ingredients

Serves 8

  • radish 2 cut lengthwise

  • pumpkin cut into big pieces 1 bowl

  • okra 7-8 cut into inch piece

  • brinjal 2 cut lengthwise

  • bamboo shoot 2 tbsp

  • panch phoran 1 tbsp

  • red chilli 3-4

  • dry mango 3-4 pieces

  • rice 1/2 cup soaked

  • garlic 5-6 cloves

  • red chilli 4-5

  • salt 2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1 tsp

  • oil 2-3 tbsp

  • curry leaves 2 tbsp

  • hing 1/4 tsp

  • chopped coriander leaves 1/2 cup

Directions

  • 01

    boil together radish,brinjal ,pumpkin,bamboo shoot,dry mango ,salt and turmeric with 1 litre of water in a pressure cooker for 1 whistle

  • 02

    fry okra and keep aside

  • 03

    blend together red chilli,soaked rice and garlic and make a fine paste

  • 04

    now add this paste to the boiled vegetables and boil again till it becomes a little thick

    switch off gas

  • 06

    take a pan and heat oil

  • 07

    add panch phoran,red chilli,hing and curry leaves and when crackle add the tempering to the ambila

  • 08

    add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
