Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • semolina 2 cups


  • sugar 1 cup or as per taste


  • grated coconut 1 cup


  • sugar 1/2 cup


  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp


  • oil for frying 3 cups


  • clove 2-3

Directions

  • in a big bowl boil 4 cups of water
  • add crushed cardamom and clove to it
  • when starts boiling add semolina and mix well so that no lumps will be formed
  • add sugar 1 cup and mix well covered for 2-3 mins
  • now take a pan and cook coconut n sugar 1/2 cup till sugar gets caramelised
  • add cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • now take a tomato sized dough and make a bowl like shape
  • stuff with the caramelised coconut and seal it
  • do all the manda like this
  • heat sufficient oil in a Kadhai
  • deep fry these mandas till crispy golden brown colour
  • serve hot or u can store it for 2-3 days
