Ingredients

1 cup chickpea dal
1 Cup tuvar dal
1/2 cup mung dal
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 finely chop onion
1 tbsp or as per your taste salt
1 tablespoon curry leaves
2 tbsp shop green coriander
4 finally chop green chilli
1 tbsp chili powder
Directions
Soake all dal 2-3 hour
Drain the excess water from the dals and grind the dals coarsely without adding water.
Add the chopped onions, chopped green chillies, ginger pieces, chopped curry leaves, coriander leaves, crushed fennel seeds and salt to the ground batter and mix everything well.
Make small balls with the palms and flatten them. Make a hole in center of vada.
Arrange the flattened vadas over the idly plates lined with parchment paper.
Steam cook for 10-15 minutes in an idly cooker and enjoy warm with ketchup or chutneys.
