Rinse the rice and soak them for 30 min.
Drain the water & grind them till the consistency granulated not in fine paste.
Soak saffron in to a half cup warm milk. Keep aside.
Heat milk heavy bottom deep pan.
Let the milk come to boil then add ground rice in it.
Cook ground rice in milk on slow flame.
Keep starring so that lumps not formed.
Take some boiling water add some almonds in it. Blanch, peel & sliced them.
When the rice is almost cooked , add saffron milk, sugar & cardamom powder in it. Stir well.
When it becomes thick add into serving bowls.
Let it cool down on room temperature.
Garnish with chopped almonds & keep in fridge for 2 hours.
Serve chilled.
