                         Matar Paneer making is easy.  This is creamy, delicious and rich in nutrients. Matar paneer is most popular paneer recipe in India. This is the best combination for parottas, chapati, rice etc.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Paneer - 100 grams


  • Sunflower oil - 5 teaspoon


  • Onion - 2


  • Green chilly - 1


  • Tomato -1


  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Kashmiri chilly powder - 2 teaspoon


  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon


  • Water - 2 cup


  • Salt -1/2 teaspoon or to taste


  • Green peas - 1/4 cup


  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Kasuri methi - 1/2 teaspoon

Directions

  • Saute onion, green chilly and onion in oil and grind it to a smooth paste
  • Heat oil and splutter cumin seeds
  • Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder and saute well
  • Add ginded paste
  • Add water and salt and allow to boil
  • Add paneer and green peas and cook until green peas is done
  • Add garam masala powder and Kasuri methi
