Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • Roasted Peanuts - 1 handful


  • Red chillies - 3 to 4 nos


  • Garlic - 2 pods


  • Tamarind - 1 gooseberry size


  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp


  • Salt - 1 tbsp


  • Water - 1/4 cup (as required)


  • Oil- 2 tsp


  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp


  • Urad dal - 1 tsp


  • Curry leaves - 1 string

Directions

  • In a mixer jar add roasted peanuts, red chillies, garlic, tamarind, cumin seeds, salt and water. Grind it to a smooth paste by adding little by little water until the required consistency you need.
  • In a tempering pan add oil, when hot add urad dal, mustard seeds and curry leaves. When everything splutters add it to the grinded peanut paste.
  • Mix well and have it with hot idly or dosa and enjoy 😋
