Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups besan


  • 1/2 cups oil


  • 1/2 cups water


  • 1/2 tsp carom seeds


  • 1 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp hing ( asafoetida)


  • 3 cups oil for frying

Directions

  • In a bowl take oil water hing salt carrom seeds n whisk it till mixture becomes opaque or slight fluffy
  • You can mix with hands or whisk
  • Then add besan little at a time by mixing it continuously
  • Consistency should be medium
  • Heat oil for frying in a big pan
  • Keep a greased jhara on the pan and put 2 tablespoon of batter on it
  • Press with hand and make ganthiya
  • Fry on little medium flame n drain
  • Cool ganthiya and store in air tight container for 15 days or more .
