Ingredients

  • 1 kgs rice powder


  • 1 kgs jaggery sarkkara


  • 2 nos small banana palayamkodan pazham


  • 1/2 nos coconut slices


  • 6 nos cardamom


  • 1/2 cups water


  • 1/2 litre coconut oil or ghee

Directions

  • make sarkara pani - boil water add jaggery, one string consistency
  • mash the banana
  • mix rice powder sarkara pani mashed banana if need add water , make flowing batter, add coconut slices and cardamom powder
  • make it rest whole night 8 hrs
  • morning take unniyappam pot pour coconut oil or ghee, when it hot pour the batter.
  • after cooking one side turn the other side of unniappam
  • you can make 75 unniappam
