Ingredients

  • Colostrum milk 1 ltr


  • Sugar 1 1/2 cup


  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tesp


  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tesp


  • Saffron strands 15-20

Directions

  • Dissolve sugar in colostrum milk. Colostrum milk is milk of calving buffalo / cow. Use second or third day milk of calving cow or third/ fourth day milk of calving buffalo. As buffalo milk is thicker than cows milk.
  • Add cardamom powder, pepper powder and saffron strands.
  • Take 1 cup water in a pressure cooker and place a wire stand in it.
  • Place the milk mixture bowl over wire stand.
  • Cover the bowl with a plate.
  • Seal the pressure cooker lid tightly. Cook till two whistles.
  • Take off heat and let the pressure cooker rest untouched for one hour.
  • Now open the lid and take out the bowl. The milk mixture would have been set. Some water on top is okay.
  • Chill the bowl in refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Cut into desired size pieces and serve.
