Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 250 gms boneless chicken


  • 2 tbsp yogurt


  • 1 tbsp maida


  • 1 tsp rice flour


  • 1 tbsp corn flour


  • 1.5 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric


  • 1/2 tsp salt or as per taste


  • 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar


  • 1/2 tsp chicken masala/ garam masala


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 drop red food colouring optional

Directions

  • Add all ingredients except flours and food colouring in a bowl
  • Add chicken and marinate well. Rest for 2 hours or overnight
  • Now add all 3 flours and food colouring to chicken and mix well
  • Heat oil for frying. Drop marinated chicken in hot oil
  • Deep fry over low medium heat until golden brown
  • Fry chicken in batches
  • Fry little curry leaves until crisp over low heat
  • Garnish chicken with crisp curry leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges
