Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • grated coconut 1 cup


  • ghee 3 tsp


  • chopped dry fruits 1/2 cups


  • poppy seeds 1 tsp


  • charoli 1 tsp


  • cardamom powder 1 tsp


  • jaggary 2-3 tsp


  • whole purpose flour 2 cups


  • oil for frying. 1 cups

Directions

  • Knead the flour into a small dough and keep it aside.
  • Heat ghee and add all ingredients but jaggary.
  • Saute it for a minute and add jaggary . When jaggary melts and coats the mixture switch of the gas else the mixture will become chewy.
  • Roll small rotis with the dough and stuff the mixture into it. Make modak shape and deep fry.
