Ingredients

Serves 10

  • Rice Flour 2 cups

  • Jagury 1.5 cups

  • Salt 2 pinch

  • Fresh coconut churned 2 cups

  • Ghee 2 tsp

  • Water 1.5 cups

  • Roasted Poppy seeds 2 tbsp

  • Cardamom powder 1.5 tsp

Directions

    Boil water in a heavy bottom pan

    Add 1 tsp ghee & salt

  • 03

    Now add ,Rice flour & mix it well quickly

    Turn off the gas & keep it covered for 10 min.s

    Now take another heavy bottom pan & add 1 tsp ghee

    Add coconut & roast it for 1 min.

    Now add jegury (gudh) & mix it untill melt completely.

    Let it cook for 3-5 min's & now add Khoya & cardamom powder.,mix well, let it cool completely.

    Now ,take the rice flour mix & grease your palms with ghee & knead it untill make a very smooth dough.

    Make small lemon balls & put 1 tsp stuffing & give it a shape like modak.

    Boil water in a steamer, put Modaks & cover it till 20 mins.

    Once it will done, they get a shiny surface.
