Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Jaggery 200 gms

  • Ghee 2 tbsp

  • Ginger powder 1 tsp

  • Cardamom Powder 1/2 tsp

  • Puffed Rice 75 gms

Directions

    In a bowl dissolve the jaggery in water and strain in to avoid lumps

  • 02

    In a non stick pan add the jaggery syrup and add the ghee and let it boil in a simmer flame until you get 1string consistency

  • 03

    One it is attained , add the ginger powder and cardamom Powder and give it a mix

  • 04

    Add the jaggery syrup to the puffed rice and mix it before the heat reduces

  • 05

    Apply ghee in palm and shape it in desired quantities

  • 06

    Pori urundai is ready
