Mix all the ingredients except the ghee for frying, coconut slices and coins.
Knead the dough adding water as needed.
Roll it into a thick roti . Fix the coconut slices in the center, the ends pierced into the roti .
Heat the ghee for frying in a flat bottomed pan.
Fry the susroot on low flame adjusting the heat to medium in between.
Only one side has to be fried. While frying it keep spooning some hot oil on the top so that it gets cooked too.
When done remove it on a fancy platter and insert the coins all around. You can sprinkle a little cardamom powder on top.
