Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Sem(flat beans)- 15


  • Raw Rice- 1/2cup


  • Cumin seeds- 1tsp


  • Poppy seeds- 2tbsp


  • Garlic- 4cloves


  • Red chili- 2


  • Oil- 1/2cup for frying


  • Haldi- 1/2tsp 1/2tsp


  • Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp 1/2tsp


  • Salt- 1/2tsp 1/2tsp


  • Besan- 1tbsp

Directions

  • Clean and devein the sems. In a Bowl add sem, add water to cover SEM also salt, haldi and red choli powder. Keep this on gas and cook up to bit soft. keep aside
  • In a bowl add rice, cumin, poppy seeds, garlic and red chili for 30 mins
  • Then make a smooth paste out of it
  • When sem is cooled strain it. In a mixing bowl add cooked sem and paste. Taste and salt, haldi and red chili powder as pee taste. Also add besan to it and mix to coat on the sem
  • Heat tawa and spread oil on it
  • Place one one sem on the tawa and cook up to crispy
  • Do the same with other coated sem
