  • Wheat flour- 2cups

  • Methi leaves 1 cup

  • Ginger- 1inch piece

  • Crushed green chili- 2tsp

  • Red chili powder- 1/2tsp

  • Haldi- 1/8tsp

  • Coriander powder- 1/2tsp

  • Cumin powder- 1/2tsp

  • Salt- 1tsp

  • Curd- 4tbsp

  • Oil- 2tbsp for frying


  • Clean and chop methi leaves
  • Clean and grate ginger
  • In a mixing a bowl add flour, chopped leaves, grated ginger, crushed green chili, dry spices, 1tbsp oil and curd. Mix everything properly
  • Then add water to knead a soft dough.
  • Cover it and keep aside for 15mins
  • Make lemon size balls
  • Heat tawa. Roll a ball like chapathi and place on the hot tawa.
  • When done one side flip it. Then drizzle some oil on it amd cook
  • It is served hot with any curry of your choice
  • Can also be the gr8 companion for travelling
