Chutneys are one of the common side dish that goes well with any south Indian breakfast items. Preparing chutney each time you want is a time consuming process. So here is an idea to make the dry chutney mix in large quantity and store it in freezer for long time.

Ingredients
Serves : 10
Roasted gram dal - 1 cup
Fresh coconut - 1/2 cup
Cilantro - 1/4 cup (Washed and towel dried)
Mint leaves - 1/4 cup (Washed and towel dried)
Curry leaves - 6-10
Green chillies - 3-4
Garlic - 2-3 cloves
Tamarind - 1/2 inch
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
For tempering: oil 1 tablespoon
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tablespoon
Red chillies - 1 (cut to pieces)
Urad dal - 1/2 tablespoon
Directions
Add the above mentioned ingredients from 1 to 9, and grind it to coarse powder
For tempering heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
add urad dal and red chilly and saute and transfer the tempering to chutney mix and give it a mix.
Store the mix in freezer for upto 1 month.
For serving mix required amount of chutney mix with water and serve.
