Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Wheat flour: 1/2 bowl

  • Salt: 2-3 tsp

  • Water: 5-6 cups

  • Oil: 8-10 tbsp

  • Mangoes: 6

  • Sugar: 3-4 tsp

  • Cardamom powder: 1/2 tsp

    METHOD FOR PURIS:

    Add salt & oil to wheat flour and mix it well

  • 03

    Add water as required & make a soft dough

  • 04

    Add some more oil

  • 05

    Keep the dough aside for 10-15 minutes

  • 06

    Take small balls out of the dough

  • 07

    Apply some oil onto a ball & roll it in a round shape

    Heat oil in a small kadai

  • 09

    Put round shaped puris into oil

  • 10

    Deep fry puris till it turned golden brown in colour

    METHOD FOR AAMRAS:

    Remove pulp of all mangoes in a grinder

  • 13

    Add salt to taste, sugar as required and a pinch of cardamom powder and grind it

  • 14

    Takeout aamras in a bowl
