Ingredients

Serves 4

  • sardine fish, cleaned 2-3 nos

  • coriander leaves to garnish 5-6 nos

  • oil to shallow fry 2 tbsp

  • sliced onion, tomatoes, lime & fresh chilies to serve 1/4 cups

  • Marination : ginger 2 inch

  • garlic cloves 2-3 nos

  • small onion 1 nos

  • green chilies 1-2 nos

  • coriander stems 1/2 cups

  • fried peanuts 2 tbsp

  • lime juice 1 tsp

  • red chili powder 1 tbsp

  • salt or to taste 1/2 tsp

Directions

    Blend all the mentioned ingredients for the marinade. Generously rub it all over the fish pieces and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

    Heat 2 tbsp. of oil and shallow fry the sardines on both sides till done. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve along with sliced onion, tomatoes. lime & fresh chilies.
