NUTRY-CORN-MOONG SPROUTS PULAO

Description

Sprouts are main source of vitamins and fiber. There are many ways to use sprouts in dishes. The combination of rice and sprouts are good source of protein. Nutry- corn-moong sprout pulao is a perfect dish to pack in the Tiffin box. U can serve it with cucumber or onion tomato raita.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups rice


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 cups moong sprouts


  • 1/2 cups american corns


  • 1/2 cups soya chunks


  • 1 nos onion cut in slices


  • 1 nos tomato cut in small pieces


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 1 pinch salt according to taste


  • 1 tsp biryani masala powder

Directions

  • Soak rice in water for 15 minutes.
  • Soak soya chunks in water and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  • Add sliced onions in it and saute until transparent.
  • Add tomatoes in it and saute for two minutes.
  • Add corns and soya chunks in it and saute for two minutes.
  • Wash rice nicely. Drain the rice from water and add into the pressure cooker. Stir well.
  • Add salt and biryani masala in it. Mix well.
  • Add one and half cup water in it.
  • Now add moong sprouts in it. Mix well.
  • Close the lid and pressure it until one whistle.
  • Switch off the flame. When the steam released open it and serve hot.
