Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cup semolina


  • 1 cup ghee


  • 1 cup sugar


  • 1 Banana


  • 1 cup Milk


  • 1 cup water


  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 10-15 raisins


  • 1 teaspoon almond, cashew chopped

Directions

  • Heat up a pan on medium heat.Add ghee and rava. Mix well and roast rava.
  • roast rava until it gets nice golden color.
  • After 4-5 minutes, add dry fruits and continue roasting.
  • When  it will turn nice golden.Add banana and cook until it becomes soft
  • Boil together water and milk. Add this boiling water and milk to roasted Rava .mix well everything.
  • Cover and steam for about few minutes.
  • Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • Cover and steam  for about 7-8 minutes.
  • Open the lid and mix well.
  • Sheera / sooji halwa is ready
