Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 1 cup semolina

  • 1 cup ghee

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 Banana

  • 1 cup Milk

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 10-15 raisins

  • 1 teaspoon almond, cashew chopped

Directions

    Heat up a pan on medium heat.Add ghee and rava. Mix well and roast rava.

    roast rava until it gets nice golden color.

  • 03

    After 4-5 minutes, add dry fruits and continue roasting.

    When  it will turn nice golden.Add banana and cook until it becomes soft

  • 05

    Boil together water and milk. Add this boiling water and milk to roasted Rava .mix well everything.

    Cover and steam for about few minutes.

    Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well.

  • 08

    Cover and steam  for about 7-8 minutes.

  • 09

    Open the lid and mix well.

  • 10

    Sheera / sooji halwa is ready
