Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Brahmi leaves - 1 handful


  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup


  • cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp


  • peppercorns - 4


  • red chili - 2


  • Curd - 3/4 cup


  • Salt - 1 tsp


  • coconut oil 1 tsp


  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp


  • Red chili - 1


  • Curry leaves - 1 strands

Directions

  • clean and wash brahmi leaves.
  • In a pan dry roast jeera, peppercorn and red chilli. Fry for a minute.
  • Next add brahmi leaves to the same pan and fry for few minutes.
  • Transfer this to a mixer jar, also add grated coconut and salt.
  • Grind all these to a fine paste by adding little water.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and add curd.
  • Mix well. Timira tambli is ready.
  • Heat a pan and do the seasoning.
  • Pour it over the tambli.
