Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 small tej patta


  • 1 javithri


  • 1/2 jeera


  • 2 elaichi


  • 3 laung


  • 1 stick dalchini


  • 1 cup chopped onion


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1/2 cup chopped tometo


  • 1/2 cup beans


  • 1/2 cup carrot


  • 1 cup cauliflower


  • 1/2 cup poteto


  • 1/2 cup green peas


  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1/2 saunf


  • 1 cup water and salt to taste


  • 3 tbsp fresh coconut grated


  • 8 to 10 cashew nuts


  • 1 tbsp fried gram

Directions

  • Make a fine paste of the greted coconut,cashew,gram with littel water.
  • Boil until all veggies are tender but littel crunchy.
  • Heat oil in pan over medium flame.then add tej patta, laung, javinthri,jeera,elaichi .
  • Add chopped onion and fry until the raw smell goes off.
  • Fry ginger garlic paste until the raw smell goes off.
  • Ssute tometo with salt until mushy and soft.
  • Add chilli powder,garam masala,saunf and saute well for 2 to 3 mins until the masala smells good.
  • Add the coconut paste and saute for few minutes until the masala smells good.
  • Add veggies and mix well fry for few minutes and then pour water.adjust salt if needed.
  • Cook until the veggies are cooked.
  • Serve veg kurma with plain rice .
