Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 small tej patta

  • 1 javithri

  • 1/2 jeera

  • 2 elaichi

  • 3 laung

  • 1 stick dalchini

  • 1 cup chopped onion

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1/2 cup chopped tometo

  • 1/2 cup beans

  • 1/2 cup carrot

  • 1 cup cauliflower

  • 1/2 cup poteto

  • 1/2 cup green peas

  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 saunf

  • 1 cup water and salt to taste

  • 3 tbsp fresh coconut grated

  • 8 to 10 cashew nuts

  • 1 tbsp fried gram

Directions

    Make a fine paste of the greted coconut,cashew,gram with littel water.

    Boil until all veggies are tender but littel crunchy.

    Heat oil in pan over medium flame.then add tej patta, laung, javinthri,jeera,elaichi .

    Add chopped onion and fry until the raw smell goes off.

  • 05

    Fry ginger garlic paste until the raw smell goes off.

  • 06

    Ssute tometo with salt until mushy and soft.

  • 07

    Add chilli powder,garam masala,saunf and saute well for 2 to 3 mins until the masala smells good.

    Add the coconut paste and saute for few minutes until the masala smells good.

    Add veggies and mix well fry for few minutes and then pour water.adjust salt if needed.

    Cook until the veggies are cooked.

    Serve veg kurma with plain rice .
