  • 2 cups maida / refined flour

  • 1 cup mawa

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 cup chopped dry fruits

  • 1/2 cup desi ghee

  • 2-3 cups Refined oil for deep fry


  • In a bowl take maida/refined flour, add ghee for moin then knead soft dough with water.
  • Rest it for 20 minutes.
  • Now , heat a pan add mawa fry it for 10 minutes, when it becomes soft turn off the gas flame.
  • After cooling down the mawa, add powdered sugar and chopped dry fruits.
  • Now, after 20 minutes the dough becomes set and now make small balls , small then the size of lemon.
  • Now roll the balls and stuff with mawa then bind them carefully.
  • Prepare all the kachoris like this and deep fried in simmer gas.
  • Now , make sugar syrup for this in a sauce pan or vessel add 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water then cook until the sugar dissolves.
  • Now check the sugar syrup if it becomes sticky then turn off the gas flame.
  • Now dip all the fried kachoris in sugar syrup and place it on a plate.
  • Mawa Kachori is ready to serve.
