  • 1/2 cup wheat flour

  • 1/4 cup semolina

  • 1/4 Cup gram flour

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 3 cups water

  • 1/2 cup clarified butter

  • 1/4 Cup dry fruits of your choice like raisins, almonds


  • In a pan heat clarified butter and add all the flours and roast till you get a nice Aroma and colour.
  • In a separate vessel add sugar and water and cook till the sugar is dissolved
  • when the flour is properly roasted, at this stage add the water and sugar mixture into the flour and mix by stirring continuously
  • add dry fruits and keep on stirring till halwa leaves sides of the pan
  • Shahi halwa is ready, garnish with dry fruits and Serve hot
