Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Channe 2 cups


  • Muslin bag 1


  • Water 7-8 cups


  • Salt 2 tbsp


  • black salt 1 teaspoon


  • Black pepper 1 tsp


  • Turmeric 1 tsp


  • Garam masala 2 tsp


  • Corinader powder 1 tsp


  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp


  • Dry mango powder 2 tsp


  • Red chilli powder 2 tsp


  • Ajwain 2 tsp


  • Ghee 4 tbsp


  • Ginger jullienes 1 tsp


  • Garlic jullienes 1 tsp


  • Green chilli slits 2


  • Degi mirch 1 tsp


  • Onion rings 2-3


  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp

Directions

  • 1. Soak the channa overnight.
  • 2. Put soaked channa in pressure cooker and muslin bag and water .
  • 3.close cooker and bring to full pressure on high heat . Reduce the heat and cook till done
  • 4. Remove from heat and drain . Reserve the cooked liquid for further use. 
  • 5. Put the boiled chickpeas in a pan , add black salt, pepper, salt, haldi, garam masala,aamchur powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder ,cumin powder and mix it well 
  • 6. In a separate pan, heat the ghee and add ajwain, ginger garlic and green chillies cook it for 30 sec and put this on channa masala and add the reserved water and mix well
  • 7. Cook till water absorbs  . Serve hot with onion rings and green chilli .  Serve hot with pranthas and naan
