Soak wheat rava in water for 6-8 hours. Grind to smooth puree
Strain puree and extract milk. Add water and extract as much milk possible
Set this milk aside for 3-4 hours. Discard top fluid.
Add 4 cups of water to remaining wheat milk and mix well
Add 2.5 cups sugar and 1/2 cup water in non stick pan. Cook until sugar caramelizes
Add wheat milk and caramelized sugar in non stick pan with remaining sugar and mix well
Cook until mixture thickens stirring constantly. Keep adding spoonful of ghee at a time. Mix well until it absorbs
Keep cooking until ghee seperates. It will take 45 minutes to 1 hour
Add chopped cashews and mix well
Serve halwa as is or transfer halwa to greased square dish lined up with butter paper. Spread halwa evenly. Sprinkle additional cashews almonds for taste on top
Cool for 3 hours until set. Slice and serve
