Macaroni - 11/2 cup
Spinach leaves - 2 cups tightly packed
Fresh cream - 1/2 cup
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon ( as per taste)
Garlic - 1 teaspoon, chopped
Cheese - grated, 2 to 3 tablespoon
Basil (dried) - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder -1/4 teaspoon
Refined oil - 1 teaspoon
Wash and clean the spinach leaves.
Blanch the palak leaves and make a smooth puree.
Now heat water and boil the macaroni for 7 to 8 minutes or unless they are soft. Add 1 teaspoon oil and salt while boiling the macaroni.
Once the macaroni is soft drain the water and run cool water on it to avoid getting overcooked
Melt butter in a pan and add chopped garlic.
Sauté them until turns slight brown and now add the spinach puree.
Cook the puree until the raw smell of spinach is gone.
Now add the cream into it and mix well.
Next add boiled macaroni and salt as per taste.
Mix the macaroni with the green sauce.
Now add black pepper powder and basil and mix well.
Finally when the green sauce is also drying add grated cheese on top and switch off the gas and serve hot.
