In a pressure cooker pour ghee,, add jeera, bay leaf, cinnamon.
Now saute garlic and onion and add tomatoes.
Add all the spices(except garam masala)and cook on simmer for 10 mins.
Pour water, let it boil then add chana dal and rice.
Now close the lid cook till 2 whistles come.
Once lid opens, sprinkle garam masala and coriander and serve it with favorite chutney.
